What to expect
Short, guided sessions. Your child is asked questions before they are given answers, and the session usually ends with something they want to tell you about. That last part is the point.
Five safe starting steps
- Sit next to your child for the first session. Just watch.
- Agree out loud that no real names, addresses or photos go in.
- Pick one module — saving, kindness, or a story — and finish it.
- Afterwards, ask: what did Piggy get wrong, do you think?
- Keep sessions short. Stopping early is a feature, not a failure.
How to talk about AI with your child
- AI is a tool that guesses. Good guesses, sometimes wrong ones.
- It does not know your child, and it should not be told about them.
- If something feels strange or upsetting, they should tell you — always.
- Asking how do you know that is a skill worth practising on everything.
What parent visibility means today
Parent visibility is a design principle of KidsPiggy: adults should be able to understand what kind of learning is happening. This site does not claim a specific parent dashboard, alerting system or transcript export. Where a feature exists, it lives on the interactive surface at play.kidspiggy.app.
Common questions
How old should my child be to use KidsPiggy?
A specific supported age range has not been published. KidsPiggy is written for children, but you know your child best — sit with them the first few times and judge the fit yourself.
Can my child use KidsPiggy alone?
It is designed to be used with an adult nearby. It is not intended as unsupervised, general-purpose AI access.
Will it give my child wrong answers?
It can. All AI systems produce wrong, incomplete or oversimplified answers sometimes. Treat responses as conversation starters, not authority.
What can I see about what my child does?
Parent visibility is a design principle of KidsPiggy: the intent is that adults can understand how the child is using AI. A specific parent dashboard feature set is not claimed on this site.
Does it cost anything?
Free access is currently available, with no advertising.
